AI@HHMI is a dedicated initiative by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, launched in 2024, that spans projects from computational protein design to neural mechanisms of cognition. It provides the institutional framework for HHMI's collaboration with Anthropic on lab-embedded AI agents at its Janelia Research Campus.
